Billings Volunteer Team Contact Me
Since Brittany first learned about Operation Underground Railroad in early 2015, she has felt drawn to fight human trafficking at every opportunity. She is especially motivated to educate her community about the connections between all forms of sexual exploitation, since education precedes prevention. Brittany also volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in foster care, and as a Sexual Assault Advocate through the YWCA. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Utah State University with a degree in Family Life Education, and enjoys running, traveling, creating, and spending time with her husband and three children.
What Erin loves about volunteering for O.U.R. is that we aren’t just talkers, we are do-ers. For the Billings Montana team, it isn’t just about awareness, it is also about ACTION. The Montana Team is constantly working on something and accomplishing something, and Erin says “IT FEELS GREAT. I used to wring my hands and cover my ears and cry, “There is nothing I can do!” when I learned about the evil that goes on in our world. Operation Underground Railroad has empowered me and shown me that there IS something I can do to fight the evil that exists. I can’t describe how liberating this knowledge has been for me. It’s incredible! I feel so empowered now! I want to shout it from the rooftops that we can all do something about this! I want everyone to be able to feel the way I feel!”
